When will lithium-ion battery production start?

Battery production at the joint venture plant is expected to begin at the end of 2025, with an annual production capacity of 30 gigawatt-hours (GWh) to support the production of 300,000 electric vehicles. Korea-based LG Energy Solution is the second largest supplier of lithium-ion batteries to the auto industry.
